A new bathtub drain pipe and stopper were installed that does not hold water in the tub. After two Evergreen plumbers... tried to fix the problem, they gave up & refused to replace/complete the job so that tub no longer retains water.read more

I found Evergreen Mechanical online when I was looking for a plumber to provide an estimate for the new Local Law 152... gas inspection for my mixed use commercial/residential building located in Williamsburg. I requested a quote through Yelp, and within minutes heard back from Alex. We arranged a time to meet so he could provide an estimate. I was very pleased with how COVID-conscious and respectful he was when walking through my building. He was very knowledgeable about the law and gave me a full breakdown on what is required under Local Law 152, and offered to handle the headache filing process on the back end. He also got the free quote over to me same day! I own a residential condo in a high rise building that is brand new. Since buying my apartment, I’ve had toilet... stoppage issues constantly. Water would gurgle when trying to flush and sometimes not flush at all. I hired several other plumbers who came in to snake the toilet and to problem never went away. These plumbers even went so far as installing a brand new toilet, which I agreed to install. This didn’t work either! I was at a loss, so I started down the same path of Yelp searching for local plumbers near me. That’s when I stumbled upon Evergreen Mechanical, the plumber’s plumber. Within minutes of requesting a quote, I received a call from their office asking when I’d like to schedule service. Eric from the office had a mechanic at my apartment within the hour! Not only was I blown away by their customer service and attentiveness, but it only took them a few minutes to figure out that the line was clogged with some of kid’s toys? They removed the toilet and pulled out a toy car, toothbrush, and some other unidentifiable debris, reset my toilet, and had it working good as new! Alex, Eric and the plumbing team were great. They dispatched a team when I had a leak I couldn't stop and then... professionally evaluated and repairs the issue with the steam heat system (black piping in photos plus two components pictured on boiler).I reccommend them to anyone who needs work done on a steam boiler system.read more

“EMERGENCY NO HOT WATER! I woke up one morning to discover the faucets and shower heads in my house were not producing... hot water. In desperate need of a warm shower, I called Evergreen Mechanical to get someone out to my house right away and assess the issue. After quickly concluding that my hot water heater was shot, the technician placed the order and was back in no time with a replacement. He was knowledgeable, thorough, considerate, and most importantly, replaced my heater just in time to enjoy a warm shower before bed. Called Evergreen Mechanical for repair of my water filter system that was leaking. Plumber arrived on time, was clean... and neat and explained everything. The leak was fixed and cartridges were replaced. Cleaned up nicely as well. Will definitely use them again if needed.read more

I had an emergency with a recurring toilet stoppage in my home. I was able to clear it once myself, but moments later... it immediately backed up and started overflowing. My bathroom was flooded with brown water! In a panic, I called Evergreen Mechanical as I was afraid of damaging my apartment and the apartment below me. Alex sent a snaking crew and within the hour had men at my apartment. They removed my toilet, ran a snake machine through the line, and cleared my blockage. They even stayed around and tested the toilet for good measure. Very satisfied with the swift, professional service provided. Lastly, they gave me this awesome free hat! Highly recommend!!!read more

I had an issue with my shower drain clogging up. It got to the point where it became a dire emergency. Called... Evergreen’s after hours call center and was pleasantly surprised at how quickly I received a response. Alex called me back within minutes and dispatched a crew that arrived in under an hour! The men were very professional, clean, courteous, and took great care protecting my apartment before bringing in their heavy duty snake machine to address the tub stoppage. They cleared my stoppage and had my drain line good as new in less than an hour. Would highly recommend to anyone who needs a 24/7 emergency plumber. Will definitely use again if I have an issue.read more

I had a clogged drain that caused flooding in my basement. Evergreen sent a plumber @ 9am sharp. The gentlemen was on... time, well dressed, and very professional. Not only did he clear the clog, he also made me aware of a major issue that I can have in the near future. Overall, Evergreen's response time was quick, they didn't make a mess, and my issue was fixed at a fair price. I'll definitely use them again.read more
